We Invite You to Become a Member of TBBC...

You may become a member in one of the following ways:
  • Baptism - a testimony that you have received Christ as Savior and Lord.
  • Transfer of Church Membership - from another Baptist church.
  • Statement of Faith in Christ - and previous baptism by immersion.

You may express your desire to become a church member by:
  • Going forward at the conclusion of our service and sharing your decision with a minister.
  • Scheduling an appointment to meet with our pastor.

It is our intention to never lead someone to believe that membership in a church is a substitution for knowing Jesus as Lord and Savior.

We Believe

Our mission is simple. Jesus commands the church in Acts 1:8b to be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth."(NASB)

Jesus made clear to those that would call themselves his disciples – “Obey my commands.”

As a faith community focused on God’s glory we are lead by Jesus to share the good news with our community, our country and our world.

The Great Commission: Jesus said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:19-20 NASB)

This is our mission.

About the Church

The church is a body of believers focused on the task of the Great Commission, encouraging one another and living in harmony and unity.

About God

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.

About Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days and He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

About the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God and He is present in the world to make men aware of their condition before a holy god and of their need for Jesus Christ. He “abides” in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living the Christian life and understanding of spiritual truth.

About the Bible

The Bible is God’s Word “breathed” to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth without any mixture of error.

About Man

Men and women are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us have missed the mark of God’s glory and have an attitude of disobedience toward God – this is called “sin.” Sin separates people from God and as a result causes many problems in life.

About Salvation

Salvation is God’s free gift to us. It is a gift that can be rejected by us – we must accept it. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our sin and turn to Jesus in faith, we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

About Eternal Security

Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the true believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. If you have been genuinely saved, you cannot “lose” it. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives us this security.

About Eternity

Men and women are created to be eternal beings – we exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.

Our Walk

Jesus was clear in what our walk on this earth should look like.
"Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?" And Jesus said to him, " 'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND. "This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF. On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets."  (Matthew 22:36-40 (NASB)

It is our purpose as a church to live out these truths.
